I recently resigned from my job as an account executive because I'm planning to pursue my master's degree this October, and that made me feel like I needed to have a clear picture of what the future would look like. Sure, I want to enjoy what I have now, but I also want to know at least what to aim for in the future —not necessarily a step-by-step plan .

I'm the type of person who really needs to visualize my thoughts, so when I found out about the Good Duck Workshop, I was immediately interested. I usually journal , but drawing and writing have become so commonplace, and I needed a new method to help me think, something that can help me organize my thoughts . So, the LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® method really appealed to me.

After trying it, I found LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® really helped me. After my LEGO® model was built, I was able to reflect on myself and realized that there were aspects of my life that I hadn't visualized to achieve my goals . Time During the workshop , I created two models: one depicting what my fulfilled life would look like and another depicting what I'm working towards . It turns out these two are related, but there are still some areas I need to improve. It might not be perfect, but at least it should be better.

What really helped me was the guidance from the instructor. Usually, when I journal, I'm alone, so there's no other perspective to help me dig deeper into my thoughts. Well, the guidance from the instructor throughout... This workshop sparked questions in me too. For example, "Oh yeah, I guess I hadn't thought about this aspect before. And it turns out it's also important for building my future." Things like this make me want to use LEGO® again on my own, to unpack my thoughts, figure out where my life is going, and what I really want.

Now I have a better idea of what steps I need to take. There will definitely be some trial and error , but at least with small steps, I can make progress.

Overall, I think this is a very interesting method to follow. I don't think anyone has ever brought up a method like this, one that explores our perspective on life, how we view achievements , and what we want for our future. If you haven't tried it, you definitely should. It might not be life-changing , but… it's kind of life-changing for me .
